Ibiza: what can not be missing on a day at the beach

We all know that summer ends on September 21. That means it's not over yet. For this reason, summer lovers cling to it until the last moment. If you've enjoyed this summer as it should, you may not have much savings left. But don't worry, in this post we propose an economic plan: spend a day at the beach. It seems simple, right? Well, even if you see it as easy, surely when preparing the backpack you forget something. Don't worry, this article will be your guide on what you can't miss on your day at the beach.

1. Umbrella
Yes, it seems like a cliché, but it is overlooked by many. Even if you are a sun lover and want to get a tan, you better not forget it if you do not intend to end up like a crab. It is ideal for lunchtime, if you are going to spend the whole day on the beach. Eat, better in the shade, right?

2. Towel
This and the swimsuit, the most basic. We are sure that you will not forget it, but this post would be incomplete if we do not remember it, do not you think?

3. Fridge with water and soft drinks
This is even more important than the swimsuit or the towel. It is essential in your backpack for the beach. On sunny days it is convenient that you carry your soft drinks in a fridge to keep them fresh. It is essential that you do not get dehydrated, so fill your fridge with what you like best: beer, soft drinks, juices... and don't forget the water!

4. Food
If you want to spend the whole day on the beach, we advise you to take something to eat. The sun, the sea… makes you hungry; therefore, the most logical thing is that you at least make a snack. Beach bars are usually very expensive, so your wallet will thank you.

5. Comfortable shoes
If Ibiza stands out for something, it is for its paradisiacal and practically virgin enclaves. If you are looking to spend a day at the beach in a quiet environment, you should look for a cove with less accessible entrances, since these are the ones with less noise. To go to these small coves it is better to wear comfortable and closed shoes, since some accesses are rocky and with flip flops you could hurt yourself. Get some “crab shoes” for your comfort. Your feet will thank you!

6. Change clothes
If you have come by car, motorcycle, public transport... it is better that you bring a change of clothes. Wearing wet clothes is not advisable and thus you will avoid a possible cold.

7. Some jacket
You cannot leave the island without seeing its spectacular sunsets. To do this, we recommend that you bring a jacket or “warm” clothes if you intend to stay and see it on the beach itself. Perhaps it is not so necessary for the months of July or August, but in September, and even more so if you have reached a more remote cove or beach, it is normal for the air to blow stronger and make a little current at the end of the afternoon.

8. Diving goggles
For lovers of diving, this is a must. If you are a pro level, we recommend fins. Of course, if you want to snorkel or deep dive, we recommend that you avoid the most crowded beaches, since they are usually the shallowest and the noise will drive away marine fauna.

These are only the 8 must that we recommend. Are any missing? Fill your backpack with everything you want! Let's go to the beach!
