10 spots for seeing Ibiza’s best sunsets

Ibiza is the favourite destination for millions of tourists from all around the world. Its paradisiacal beaches, nightlife and sunsets make this island a unique place that you can’t miss out on. In this post, we suggest 10 spots where you’ll be able to enjoy the real sunsets.

1. Benirrás
Benirrás is a small cove. You can reach it by car from San Miguel, or also by boat. A sunset there is a real show. The fans of burning skies all recognise that Ibiza is the top destination for enjoying them. In Benirrás, Sunday is the key day for attending an incredible sunset for two reasons: nature, on the one hand, and on the other, a band that attends the spectacle with drums and torches. A real delight for your senses!

2. Café Del Mar
Café Del Mar is an unavoidable reference on our must-see sunset guide in Ibiza. Located on San Antonio beach, it’s open from april to october and during the summer it’s one of the busiest destinations on the island. At dusk, people sit in this popular café to listen to chill-out music with a drink in their hand, enjoying the views and the incredible sunset. It’s honestly breathtaking.

3. Pearl Restaurant
In an exclusive corner of Ocean Beach Club Ibiza is one of the luxury sites of El Arenal. It has a VIP access on the seafront where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets.

4. Cala Conta
Conta Cove, similarly to Café del Mar, offers “sunset sessions at night time”. For many Ibiza fans, this place is a real paradise that holds one of the island’s top sunsets.

5. Restaurante Edén
Edén, the restaurant-lodge, is one of Ibiza’s trendiest places, offering different terraces at various heights and strategic spots so that each and every table can enjoy unbeatable views. This ibizan style building is 180 metres tall, located on the top of a cliff, with panoramic views over the sea and the sunset. No one is ever disappointed.

6. De Ses Salines Natural Park
This option is perfect for making the sunset out on a walking route through the Ses Salines Natural Park. The itinerary, which takes around three hours and whose final destination is, precisely, the peak of Es Cap del Falcó, will marvel you with its sunsets. It’s a real delight for the eyes.

7. El Chiringuito
El Chinringuito is the favourite place for the most exclusive palates. It’s located in Es Cavallet, with a view over Ibiza’s historic centre as well as Formentera. It’s ranked as one of the island’s most beautiful restaurants at a global scale, where you’ll also be able to enjoy an unforgettable sunset.

8. Cala Bassa
This cove is a natural pool of white sand and crystal clear water, located on the island’s western coast near San Antonio. Surrounded by tamarings, centuries-old junipers and piens, this cove has the cleanest and clearest waters on the island, leaving behind a breathtaking sunset as the sun hides behind the sea.

9. Café Mambo
Café Mambo is designed with traditional ibizan elements. It’s perfect for contemplating the island’s surroundings. Here you can have dinner and a cocktail with your friends as you stare at a beautiful sunset that is famous worldwide. Renowned Dj’s such as Daivd Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Luciano, Erick Morillo… Are waiting for you! Don’t let the beat stop!
